Francis “Frank” J. Horvath of Mt Prospect passed away on December 29, 2016, at the age of 65. Born November 19, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Joseph E. and Jean nee Ciasto Horvath. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Frank is survived by sons Matthew Horvath, Richard Horvath, and Jeffrey Horvath; brother Joseph (Kathy) Horvath. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Frank grew up in Norridge, IL. He graduated from Holy Cross High School and Lewis University. Frank worked in the banking industry for 40 years. He loved coaching his three sons in a variety of sports, and was a diehard White Sox, DePaul, and Notre Dame fan.

A visitation for Frank will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd, at Northwest Hwy, Mt Prospect. Wearing White Sox, DePaul, and Notre Dame attire is acceptable for the visitation.

A funeral mass for Frank will be held at 10:00 a.m., with visitation an hour prior, at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt83) at Lincoln St. Mt. Prospect.
